Mrs. Dam's younger brother was in prison, and his 3-year-old child had been kidnapped. Mrs. Dam twice travelled to Xi'an to consult the author. The hexagram cast was Gou transforming into Song.

Brothers You Metal moves and produces the Use Spirit Children Hai Water — the child is safe. The Use Spirit is in Empty Decade; once it leaves Empty, the child can be found. On the 9th of the 1st lunar month Xu clashes Chen, opening the storehouse. On the 13th (Wu-Yin day), Yin combines with Hai.
Actual outcome
On the 10th of the 1st month a letter arrived: the child was in a rural area of Kaifeng County, southeast, about 70 km away. On the 13th the child was found and brought home.
