Analysis
Both primary and changed hexagrams sit in Kun palace; the Azure Dragon, the Snake Officials, and Chen Earth all remain still — before 7 April, Guangzhou will have no earthquake. Line 1 Brothers Wei Earth moves and the hexagram becomes Fu. Fu has Zhen (Wood) below, thriving on the month-stem and restraining Kun (Earth) — fear something jolting may happen on 6 April. The Vermilion Bird paired with Brothers signals wealth-robbery, lawsuits, or quarrels. For travel, Kun is the image of not moving; the Subject line is broken by the month and Kun is a Six-Clash hexagram. Departing on the 4th is unfavorable.
Actual outcome
He sent a telegram to delay departure to the 11th, arriving on the 13th. On 6 April a major blast at the Guangzhou rail terminal killed and injured dozens. The trip was safe.
