Meaning
The career-launch rite is a spiritual practice that helps someone starting a new venture feel grounded and trust in the deities' protection. It is the Vietnamese way of preparing oneself spiritually before tackling important work.
Offering preparation
Simple offering tray: fruit, incense, candles, betel and areca, wine. Offered at the family ancestral altar or the God of Wealth altar.
